Tubular Cast On:
Set up Tubular Cast-on
Tubular Setup Row 1 (WS): k1-tbl, sl1wyif rep from * to * until the EOR.
Place a removable stitch marker to show RS. This will help you then to join the hems.
Tubular Setup Row 2 (RS): k1, sl1wyif, rep from * to * until the EOR.
Extra:
Tubular Setup Row 3 (rearranging sts for 2x2 ribbing)*: k1, 1/1 RPC, p1 rep * to * until the EOR.
- Long tail cast-on
- Garter tab cast-on: With C1 and the smaller needles, cast on 3 sts using the long tail cast-on method. Knit 6 rows (always knit). Knit Row 7. Turn the work 90 degrees clockwise. Pick up and knit 3 p along the left edge. (6p in total). Rotate the piece 90 degrees clockwise. Pick up and knit 3 p along cast-on. (9p in total).
